" The truth about long distance relationships is they are hard. They are so fucking hard. The only way to see each other is Skype and FaceTime. You’ll be walking around and you’ll see other couples walking around holding hands, stealing a kiss every now and then. You find yourself thinking about what it would be like if they were there with you. If other people would be looking at you thinking the same thing. You find yourself missing them throughout the day. At night you cry sometimes because you miss them. You scroll through the long distance tag every now and then. They are constantly on your mind and when you are on Skype you are constantly smiling. The time you actually spend together you don’t take for granted because you know what it’s like without them. You tell them “I love you” so much more. Your kisses are more meaningful. Your hugs are a bit longer and more loving. The reunions are amazing! In all honesty long distance relationships are a bitch. The miles between you are torture. But the relationships themselves are better. Better because of the fact you don’t take things for granted. I would much rather be with the person I love and deal with the 4,206 miles between us than be with an asshole that lives in my town. "
